Our SPUR Community Roots garden, located at St. Andrew's Church on Lafayette Street in Marblehead, benefits area food pantries and community programs. Our garden includes over 40 garden beds in a 3, 000 square foot space and is a tangible way to bridge the gap for those who may have barriers accessing healthy food.

Volunteers are welcome all growing season to join us once or as often as they choose for maintenance and/or harvesting. Whether you are experienced in gardening or a beginner, all abilities are welcome and our Garden Chairs would be happy to set up a time to meet you in the garden. EMAIL us to learn more.

Harvest season is underway and we're looking for more green thumbs to join us in the garden. We have opportunities to help harvest and delivery produce. Visit our VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES page to sign up.

One of our fantastic volunteers, Haley Andreason, put together a SPUR Garden Produce Cookbook based on ingredients that are grown at this garden. Check out all the amazing recipes HERE.
