Our SPUR Community Roots garden was established in 2016 to grow fresh produce to benefit area food pantries and community programs.  In 2017, we moved the location of our garden to St. Andrew's Church on Lafayette Street in Marblehead.  This partnership enabled our garden to nearly triple in size as well as provided stability for the garden to ensure it's successful operation for the next few years.  The SPUR Community Roots garden at St. Andrew's is a tangible way to connect with one another and bridge the gap for those who may have barriers accessing healthy food, free of toxins and grown with a whole lot of love.

The success of the new SPUR Community Roots garden at St. Andrews depends on support from the community at large.  Consider one of many tax-deductible contribution options to help with costs associated with the garden.  Opportunities range from $25 vegetable, flower and herb packs to sponsoring vegetable beds as individuals, families or groups of friends.  Each sponsored bed will receive a sign noting sponsorship and general sponsorship of $500 or more will receive recognition on the garden sign street side.  View ways to give here.
